Privacy Policy

Range Caddies is an iOS golf practice application developed and operated by Ethan Macanas ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the Range Caddies mobile application (the "App").

2.1 Information You Provide

When you sign in with Apple, Apple may share with us:

• Your name (if you choose to share it)
• An email address or an Apple-generated private relay email address

This information is stored locally on your device and is used only to personalise your in-app experience (e.g., displaying "Welcome Back, [Name]").

2.2 Practice Data You Generate

As you use Range Caddies, the following data is created and stored exclusively on your device:

• Drill sessions: drill name, club selected, sets, reps, make/miss results, and session timestamps
• Directional miss data (short, long, left, right) recorded per shot
• Personal best statistics per drill per club
• Custom workout routines you create
• Practice streak and daily activity data

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses
• Location data
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry
• Any data from third-party advertising or analytics platforms
• Payment information (the App is free; no in-app purchases currently exist)

The information stored on your device is used solely to:

• Display your name in the app's home screen greeting
• Save and display your drill session history and results
• Calculate and display personal best statistics
• Track your practice streak and weekly activity
• Power the workout builder and saved workout routines
• Maintain your signed-in state via Sign in with Apple

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the core features of the App.

All practice data generated by Range Caddies is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's Core Data framework. This data is:

• On-device only — not synced to iCloud, external servers, or any third-party service
• Protected by iOS — subject to Apple's standard device encryption and sandboxing protections
• Not backed up by us — if you use iCloud Backup, iOS may back up Core Data as part of the standard app backup, which is governed by Apple's iCloud Privacy Policy

If you delete the App, all locally stored practice data is permanently removed from your device.

Authentication tokens for Sign in with Apple are stored securely in your device's Keychain in accordance with Apple's security guidelines.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties.

Because your practice data never leaves your device, there is no data for us to share. The only external interaction is your authentication token managed by Apple through Sign in with Apple.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws or respond to valid legal process.

Sign in with Apple

Range Caddies uses Apple's Sign in with Apple service for user authentication. When you sign in, Apple handles the authentication process according to Apple's own privacy policy. We receive only a user identifier and, optionally, your name and an email address (or private relay address). Apple's privacy policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.

No Analytics or Advertising SDKs

Range Caddies does not embed any analytics libraries (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel) or advertising SDKs. No tracking or behavioural profiling of any kind occurs.

Because all practice data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• Access your data — all data is visible within the App in the History and Profile sections
• Delete your data — use Profile → Account → Delete Account to remove all data, or simply delete the App
• Revoke Sign in with Apple — you can revoke the App's Sign in with Apple connection at any time through your Apple ID settings at Settings → [Your Name] → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID

Range Caddies is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no data is transmitted to us, no such collection can occur through ordinary use of the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information through other means (e.g., email contact), please contact us at macanasethan@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes that affect how we handle your information, we will notify you through an in-app notice or by updating the policy before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of Range Caddies after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
